Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Residency
 

The goal of the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) residency program is to provide our residents with the best education possible by maintaining a balanced and complete program.

Here are a few essential facts about our program.

  • Comprised of 9 residents and 17 faculty members, with rotations providing a 1:1 educational setting
  • Offers comprehensive training in the field of physiatry
  • Home Call
  • Education-friendly environment
  • Education supplemented by a structured didactic program, a constantly-growing resident library collection, a book allowance, and 6 weeks of educational leave accompanied by a $6,000 conference budget
  • Residents granted progressive autonomy throughout the program's three years
  • Administered by Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas, a Level 1 trauma center and tertiary referral hospital.
  • Graduates either enter practice or pursue fellowships such as pain medicine and spinal cord injury.
