Study Identification

The Business Development Specialist works closely with the Clinical Trials Office and individual investigators to identify new studies for new and experienced researchers. Business development services are offered to identify new industry sponsored studies seeking research sites, as well as identifying studies utilizing particular drugs/devices of interest to the investigators.
Over the past three years the number of grants and industry sponsored clinical trials awarded to BRI has increased by almost 40%. The BRI Business Development Specialist provids an average of three new industry sponsored opportunities to investigators per week. By continually marketing BRI to pharmaceutical and device companies for placement of clinical trials and expanding research throughout the healthcare system, this number should continue to increase yearly.
